I asked my students, "How can we use A/V production as a platform to reach our community? What can we produce to showcase the wonderful students we have?" Their answer was to create original content using film-making. By donating this equipment you will be giving the students the opportunity to act as professionals at a job, and giving them a voice to showcase their creativity and passions. Our equipment will be used, not only for just my classes but, for the school as a whole. We will be able to bring to life our schools lively atmosphere and to continue our drive to create a better school community through the digital lens. They will be creating a documentary series - - " A day in the life off--" that will have students show what it's like to be at school through their perspective. We also will be producing our Schools announcement through Video Production. This kiddos are going to be gaining hands-on, meaningful, challenging experiences. All they lack is the equipment!
