Our Elementary is a recently reopened Detroit Public School. My 1st grade students are very interested and excited about computers, but do not have many opportunities to use them. With 33 students and 3 laptops in our classroom, we are struggling to complete our iReady minutes. iReady is a platform that provides valuable data to teachers while also allowing students to practice math and reading at their own level. Additional laptops and headphones would allow for more students to utilize iReady while we are doing stations. Headphones are necessary because many of the iReady lessons are focused on phonics and require the student to listen to sounds and match the corresponding letters.
