I am writing to ask for 16 Chromebooks to complete a set that will be used daily in the classroom. Many of my students do not have access to technology at home and accessing technology in school will help close the achievement gap. I believe that students also need to be comfortable with technology in order to increase their confidence in their abilities to perform during their online state wide assessments. Let's face it, my students enjoy learning on a Chromebook much more than sitting with a book and a piece of paper. I want to keep their interest and love of learning with technology, so please contribute whatever you can to our project. You will be supporting a very appreciative group of second graders!

About my class
