My students come from diverse ethnic backgrounds. Many of our students qualify for free or reduced lunches. Our school provides breakfast for many students who would not otherwise eat before school everyday. Wichita's major industry, aircraft, has taken many hard hits recently, and many of our students' parents are without work. Our school is large for an elementary, with over 600 students. We have class sizes of about 20-26 students.
