I want a class set of Lord of the Flies by William Golding. My goal is to help students better understand human nature and society. I am constantly asking myself, how is morality instilled in our current society? Also, what instincts and reactions arise when the social fabric begins to fade away? I believe our current society is in utmost need of these lessons. Empathy is perhaps one of the greatest characteristics a teacher can impart on their students. Please help me to do so by donating to this cause. I know that students will gain valuable insight and perspective. I really want students to leave my class with a greater sense of the common welfare. Any help that can be received is of course greatly appreciated. Thank you.
