Steel drums will not only excite my students but also allow them to learn about playing music. It is a great challenge to continue to find new and innovative ways to attract and retain students in music. Steel drums will allow my musicians to reach new levels of excellence. We will be given the opportunity to read, play, compose, and perform for each other and the community. It is also a goal to collaborate with other schools in the area. This new project will allow our performers to feel empowered, ensuring confidence, professionalism, performance skills, and the sheer joy of the sounds they can produce!

About my class
