My Algebra 2 students often need a graphing calculator to access the rigorous material but I have about five kids in each class that have told me they can't afford one. I want to keep a class set for the students who can't afford their own graphing calculators so I can see my kids succeed! We often graph complicated functions in Algebra 2 and many students have difficulty wrapping their heads around it. By using the graphing calculators to see what these functions look like, more students will have the information they need in order to interpret and analyze the functions. By having a class set of graphing calculators for students in Algebra 2, all my students will get more practice and fluency in using graphing calculators (since they won't be sharing with their seat partners anymore) and will be better prepared for their future courses in high school and college. Thank you for helping my students succeed!
