We read the first installment of Harry Potter together as a class and the students are now asking to read the second book, The Chamber of Secrets. I do not have a class set for them unfortunately so am unable to fulfill their wish. They will be able to take these copies home with them if we move into a virtual learning setting (which we have done already twice this school year due to COVID). We use these books to talk about different story elements and reading standards as the students immerse themselves into the wonderful world of Harry Potter. The discussions we have are engaging, fun and rigorous. Help us master our reading and writing standards this year by funding our project.
