Currently, the students make do with paints that I found in the supply closet dated 1991 that have lost their luster and consistency. Projects designed to ignite endless possibilities have been met with limitations. A student may be able to learn about the basics of color theory through PowerPoint presentations and class discussions but won't fully understand its practicalities without experiencing the act of mixing primary color to create orange, green, or purple. More importantly, when a child creates art they don't typically imagine it in black and white but rather in an array of rainbow colors. The ability to express their creative side, the way they see it, is the goal that I have set with this project. I truly need your support to make this a reality and give all my students the chance to be the little artists that I know them to be.
