Students have no options when it comes to seating in my classroom. Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning. During center time, this will give students a chance to choose a seat that will work for them. Not all students learn the same way. Many young children would benefit from choosing a different seat in while working. The items I have chosen would allow for those that need a "wiggly" seat, a comfortable seat or a rug. The chairs can easily be moved to different tables. By having a rug and some different seating options, students would be more productive.
