I diligently work toward growth with all my students. I believe all children can learn, provided they are given the right tools. I am currently seeking funding for four Chromebooks and headphones. A large percentage require specialized learning, and Chromebooks allow for differentiation. Some children find typing much easier than handwriting. Word processing programs allow for the change in font size as needed and deletion without the mess or erasure marks. I am currently using an online reading program that integrates a multi sensory approach, providing instant feedback and immediate rewards as goals are met. Presently, elementary classrooms struggle with a shortage of technology, and 4 extra units permanently placed in my classroom would be a tremendous asset!
