Students, especially those with learning disabilities and those learning English as a second language, greatly benefit from having the ability to hear materials that they are reading. This project will supply our instructional team with class sets of headphones that will support student achievement in reading and math. Students will have individualized lessons that cater to their specific reading needs. These individualized lessons will help close achievement gaps for students who have special needs and language barriers. Research has proven that using audio is one of the best ways to reach struggling readers. This project seeks to do just that!
