My students need opportunities to develop strong STEM Thinking skills. To do this, they need to be immersed in opportunities to wrestle with problems, find creative solutions, and learn to work together to put plans into action. Makedo Cardboard Construction tools are a perfect match for the elementary school environment. They encourage students to reuse and recycle, they are reusable, and they are simple for even the youngest students to use. All students in my school visit the library at least once a week. During that time they engage in shared reading, they check out books, and they explore different centers where they are challenged to think critically, problem-solve, collaborate, and use their creativity. Makedo cardboard tools are an essential resource to achieving these goals.
