The use of Chromebooks is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in social studies research. Using the workshop model in social studies, students work at their desks with Chromebooks for guided practice and modeled research strategies. The Chromebooks allow me to see exactly what they are doing only one at a time, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. Even though they are great about doing this, when I am working with one student it is distracting for many of my students who have focusing issues and they miss important instruction from either myself or other students. By having this Apple iPad, students will be able to avoid all of these problems and focus on increasing their learning! By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Having this iPad will allow seeing every student in a more timely manner.
