Pink and Say is an extraordinary opportunity for at risk youth to gain an appreciation for those who fought for the freedoms we have today. The beauty of the story, allows for indepth analysis of literary skills, while developing true understnding of friendship and sacrifice. It allows for great discussions and ultimate committment to learn more and grow in understanding of human kindness and hardships when strivng for a similar goals. There is no greater story of ultimate sacrifice by brothers in arms from different backgrounds fight for a common cause. All students should have the opportunity to experience this story and it certainly should be available for at risk students insouth Carilina.
