My students will be have the ability to take their technology with them to the regular education classroom by having access to iPads. These iPads will be equipped with apps and research based programs in reading and math. These i-pads will allow them to connect their prior and future learning by increasing their knowledge of the academic topic being discussed. Having technology at their fingertips would bring in another "learning style" with visual/tactile learning. It would also help with those students who have been diagnosed with ADHD keeping them focused on their academics. These iPads would also be used in the students' self-monitoring to assist with focus and on-task behavior.
