My classroom consists of 23 third grade students of which 17 are of minority decent. They all live in a rural area with low social economic status. We are part of a kindergarten through third grade public school with approximately 500 students. Our school is currently designated by the state of California a PI-5 (Program Improvement-fifth year). This means that we have not met our achievement goals in Language Arts for many years, therefore, our students need your help!
