In my classroom, we work on our social/emotional development. Literacy opportunities will help guide conversations on handling our "BIG feelings" and the feelings of others. The classroom rugs will be placed in our safe place, making the space more inviting as they process their own Big feelings. Out door toys are necessary, as we can no longer share our playground with another class due to "the germs", so this will give us things to do when we are playing on other outdoor surfaces. Other supplies will allow us to have our own space and supplies in the classroom and let me place visuals up as needed.
