The Celtic Fusion Club is a new after school music club offered to students at no cost. The funding to purchase a variety of Celtic instruments would allow students to play Celtic instruments they would not typically have the opportunity to try out in a band or orchestral setting. Funding will afford students the opportunity to play instruments they never imagined they would have a chance to play and learn new musical skills through informal music practices centered around community building. In this club, students will engage in Celtic-inspired music-making and fusion with other musical styles, including styles from students' home cultures. Students will explore, play, and create this music through singing, instruments, and dance.
