When you feel good, you do your best! What if you woke up late, being late was not an option? What if you had to run off to work without brushing your teeth or hair, washing your face, putting on that deodorant, or even changing clothes!? This would make for a pretty rough start to your day, and most likely even throw the whole day off! I have students that struggle just to make it to school each day. They come here not only to learn academics, but are learning how to care for themselves, how to socialize, and how to cope with life. When some of them are needing a little more than the basics, I have seen first hand, how a little TLC and hygiene provision can change the course of their day. A cabinet full of the bare minimum, some socks for their feet, and some clean clothes that fit, would make the difference in their day! We provide a warm and caring environment to help them succeed, let's step up our game! BATTER UP! Jump in with me and EMPOWER our children through a Clothes and Necessity Closet! We can lift their self worth, self esteem, and show them to care and be proud of who they are, no matter what obstacles are in front of them!

About my class
