In the world of science, technology is improving every day. My students are seventh graders and have selected a virtual environment in which to learn their science lessons. Due to various situations at home, many students do not have their own laptops or have laptops that are not up to current specifications. Our community has a large population that falls below the poverty line. The assets requested in this project would go towards remedying this problem for multiple students. By donating to this project, you will provide both new laptops to students who desperately need them and elevate the learning experience of those students in the realm of science. Students can then focus on maximizing their science knowledge and not focus on whether their outdated laptops will work. Science students learn more effectively when they are allowed to explore topics. Newer laptops will allow them to do this faster and more efficiently!
