The items that I am requesting for my classroom will provide students with flexible seating options (stand up desk and bean bag ottoman). My students will benefit from being able to choose their seating, so they are comfortable while learning. Many items, like the bouncy band for the feet of the chair, visual timer, and number molds will provide sensory stimulation that students can use without being distracted from their learning task. A silent, visual timer will allow students to be able to see how much time is left on a task without having to interrupt the lesson. Finally, the number and operation molds will provide another sensory opportunity during math instruction.
