Unfortunately, due to budget cuts, we don't have the advantage of having an art teacher daily at our school. We rotate a teacher every 6 weeks and sometimes we don't get to see the teacher (due to holidays or absences). Because of this, students are not exposed to do much art. I believe art is important because it helps them develop cognitively. It also enhances their creativity. We tend to have students who are unfocused, and art helps a child focus. Art helps in collaboration. Because of this and many other reasons, I do not want to neglect this subject. I will be using the hardcover books and markers to develop their creativity in art. In these blank pages, they will publish the art lessons I provide daily.
