Our students are supported by an often overlooked, but incredibly amazing team of para professionals. Experts in education, they continually strive to support our students at both a macro and micro level. They are a conduit to their learning in the larger classroom settings, continually advocating, collaborating, and finding creative & unique systems to support not only the students they are assigned to support, but the entire classroom of students. An evergrowing need that has been present long before Covid & that has crystalized in it's importance during Covid is having the technology needed to support students across settings, both physical & virtual. With the growing need to multitask from a technology perspective and collaborate over time & space, we have found the student issued Chromebooks that are given to our para professionals do not have the capability to properly support our students.
