I have a team of students ready and poised with business classes to become true entrepreneurs with our school's first coffee shop. They wouldn't be able to get this started unless they bought the supplies with their own money. We're requesting a brewer, fridge and some other basic supplies to get up and running. All aspects will be student-led with the only exception of myself as the required adult advisor. We have a "CEO" and even a marketing manager for the shop. The students refuse to go forward without making decisions that impact the environment, compostable supplies for example. This will be a service learning project for them and all proceeds with go back to the school.
