I teach special day class for students with mild to moderate disabilities, filled with unique individuals. Their disabilities include students with autism, severe behavior disabilities, ADHD and dyslexia. They each have so much they want to share with me every day. However, scribing on a daily basis and running a classroom can be a challenge. Having access to speech to text devices would enable my students to fully access the curriculum and interact in a meaningful way during their mainstreaming opportunities in the general education setting. Supplying up-to-date technology will make a difference in my students' education by making writing a joy instead of a chore.

About my class
