Our students have been working on animal research projects for a couple of months now. They have been given the opportunity to research their favorite animal. Giving students the choice has really inspired and motivated them; I wish you could all see the excitement in their eyes. The project will cover the cost of admission and transportation for a field trip to the zoo, it's a dream come true! Our students have accomplished researching, planning, writing a book, and peer editing. We believe that since they have been so invested in their projects, it would be beneficial in this learning process to let them go see their chosen animal, first hand, at the zoo.

About my class
