Professional growth comes from sharing my expertise and learning from peers who teach art in schools throughout the nation. My proposal to share successful strategies and exciting art lessons for early childhood-aged students was accepted to present at NAEA 2020! I'll also attend sessions presented by peers on a host of subjects in special education and early childhood art. Every time I've attended this annual conference, I return with so much material I use immediately... whether it is how to use a binder to raise the work surface for a visually impaired child or tips on visual art room signage specific to autistic students, including how and when to use it. What'll 2020's conference bring?

About my class
