These kits will allow my students a first-hand learning opportunity in a way that they have never had before. Science can not be simply taught out of a textbook. The best science classes are ones where students experience science. This project will give me the opportunity to push many of my students WAY out of their comfort zone, but it will also give them a new understanding of multiple scientific concepts like food webs and energy transformations. I love that these kits have tools and resources that I can reuse while the consumable materials can be repurchased again in the following years, thus extending the life-time of this project
