In our classroom we have a sensory table that is everyone's favorite place to play at. Our kids just love digging in the materials and feeling the different textures on their hands and their arms. The noodles, beads, and rings will help kids develop their descriptive skills by giving them experiences and opportunties to use new vocabulary in action. Young learners are so driven by what they can actual see and hold in their hands. With more tools in the classroom to help them, the more chances they can be successful in developing their oral literacy skills with their peers.
