Working with small groups is essential for special education students to fully understand a lesson. This means I am constantly doing small group instruction. Having a portable computer makes working with these small groups so much more engaging for the students. We are working hard to help all students keep engaged and intrigued by their own education. Creating engaging lessons is essential to student buy-in and technology help make the lessons come alive. From having the students look up the stock market when teaching financial literacy to look up for solar oven work this will help lessons come alive. So many of our students are visual learners which is why it is so important to have access to visual images on computers.
