I am seeking a class set of the book "Poppy" by Avi. This is an exciting fiction story with a wonderful group of characters that communicates information about the roles of organisms within an ecosystem. With this book, I will be able to better support my students in learning Science vocabulary along with comprehension strategies in Reading. Young children learn best by experiencing science in real-world objects that actively engage their curiosity. Studying owl pellets will make a difference in the lives of my students by providing them the opportunity to make observations within our natural world. It will also create a real-world connection with the story.
