My students are from a low socio-economic, rural community. Many of these students find our school to be a warm, safe place to learn and grow. This year, our teachers and various community members have collaborated to enhance our school's learning environment. We have turned an under-utilized alcove into a cozy Book Nook for our students. This spot has become the perfect place for our young readers to curl up with a good book and read. However, the shelves in the Book Nook are bare.

About my class
