Students will be able to go outside the classroom to tell their own stories of their life, where they come from, their families, their history, their culture, their opinions thru photos. These stories often reflect society, the human condition. As the world is more interconnected, these stories need to be shared to reflect the social fabric and current state of their world and its place globally. We cannot document and tell these stories without film, photochemicals and paper. While many students have a camera phone. We try to really have students focus their idea and stories thru a camera lens, this very act makes students acutely aware and mindful of images they choose to document and show.

About my class
