My students are avid readers who thoroughly enjoy discussing literature with one another. To better prepare them for the higher level of discussions they will face in high school and college, I want to be able to model annotation skills while we actively read together. This stand will allow an iPad to act as a document camera so that I can show students how to actively read and absorb the most information possible and improve their ability to recall the key details from a text. This will allow us to explore a text at an even deeper level and will encourage students to always push themselves to analyze written work to the best of their abilities.
