My students have a lot of time left in this school year to prepare for second grade, we will spend a lot of time building independence. By organizing student materials in containers on the easel and in containers that are easy for students to open and close, students will be able to access materials independently. The easel will help support my English Language Learners (ELL) in small group teaching for both literacy and math and the manipulatives are essential tools to support student learning in math. These materials will help us learn and foster engagement and independence in my students' learning.

About my class
