In our class the resources have a purpose. The donations to this project will help to improve my students' environment and provide them with a safe organized space to foster learning. The sensory items will be a tool to keep students focused on the learning process. The organizational baskets, center bins, file folders and resources will be placed on the bookshelves in the back of our classroom and will help students grow to love reading. The speaker will be used so that my students know how much work time they have left by using transition sounds, as it is not good practice to cut off students without warning. By implementing the class library, my students will begin to grow their imagination through the world of books. We will use these materials to aide us in the process of becoming life-long readers. As the teacher, I have done extensive research and reading on libraries and the value of reading in the primary grades. Yet I truly need your support to make this a reality. Thanks!
