Each of my exceptional students has a story. One couldn't speak clearly, let alone read or complete math when he came to us 2 years ago. Now, he speaks with articulation and completes math on grade level. Another would hide under a table when he came last year. He is now one of the most outgoing students in the class. All of my students use fidget tools, in class, to help them remain engaged in learning without disrupting others. They are also proud to lead our school in our kindness challenge, because they experience kindness, & understanding of their differences, while they are given methods of self-regulation that do not harm others, every single day. Help them to be proud of the prizes they are able to present to other students in the school by supplying them with a Chromebook.
