Students will be use various Pokemon Decks to demonstrate their understanding of how to play the Pokemon Card Game. I limited the club to 20 students due to limited materials. My current budget allowed me to receive half of the Pokemon Cards students need to fully participate (only enough for 12 students). I've considered downloading the online game off the Pokemon website but our class computers do not support the software. By funding this project, students will be able to fully participate and immerse themselves using Pokemon cards in the 30-minute club time. You will also give students an opportunity to play against other Trainers and test their reading comprehension and math skills during gameplay.
