Our 1st grade classrooms are looking to expand our Osmo collection of games. We want to give all of our students more access to activities that engage them in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math! Coding Awbie will give students hands on experience with coding. With Detective Agency, students can explore the world around them while developing focus, observation skills, and attention to detail. Pizza Co. exposes students to real world math problems as well as nonverbal communication. Mindracers challenges students to think on their feet, strategize, and anticipate actions. Through the super studio games, students can draw and animate their own shows. By using Osmo in my classroom, I will be able to engage students who have different learning styles at their level and at their pace. I will use these games to enhance and extend student learning in the STEAM areas. Students would enjoy using them during station rotations as well as during free choice time where they are able to develop their social skills.
