I have many students who need a little extra something to keep their minds engaged after they have finished their work from the lesson. When students get finished with their work we can be quick to give them another worksheet to do. I am hoping to have this project funded to give them a hands-on option to work on instead. STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and math. Each of these bins will require students to use skills from each of these subject areas to complete the "mini projects" once they are done with their lesson's work. Not only will these bins be useful for my early finishers, I can also purchase "add ons" to these to help students with calm down strategies, writing skills, and much more. I would also like to use these as an engaging centers option for students to work on that engages their brain exceedingly more than a worksheet. I am looking forward to seeing how much their minds grow from these STEM bins.
