The students will learn the process of throwing a ceramic pot on a pottery wheel. We have some tools, but not enough for more than one or two students to work at a time. With the addition of a few extra tools, we can have more students work simultaneously. The glazes we have are very old and there is a limited amount of colors. New glazes will allow the students to be creative and have finished pots. The glazes will show them how to take their artwork to a finished level, that they will cherish. The new materials will allow them to take their ceramics and make them into a functional, finished artwork that they can use.
