As second graders we do a lot of work around community, and a big piece of that is sportsmanship. The three second grade classes in our school go outside all together once a week, and practice playing games that encourage friendly competition, sportsmanship, physical activity, and fun. Our PE teacher moved to the middle school this year, and we currently do not have any PE materials. We've been playing tag each week, but we'd like to explore other types of activity like dribbling, relay races, egg toss, and other games. While tag is fun, we'd like more materials as a second grade family to work on different physical skills with our students.

About my class
