Freedom Intermediate School was built in 1972 as Franklin Junior High School. The school changed to a 5-6 Intermediate School in 1994. We are a very diverse school with 600 students. Freedom Intermediate School, believing in shared responsibility among home, school, and community, is committed to providing a safe, fair, and flexible environment where children will grow in intellectual curiosity and independent thinking.
