Students need a quiet, calm and somewhat private space to write in our classroom. Students' imaginations are fascinating but it's sometimes difficult to have these imaginations made into words and narratives. We are trying to create a space to enhance our students' writing abilities. I feel that such a space will help to flourish their writing process. Warm lights from the twinkle light tree and the essential oil diffuser to help calm. The therapy ball adds to the effect that students can bounce a bit while creating. Instant gratification from the wireless printer so students don't have to wait to see their writing when I can't find the time to run down the hall to the school printer. A few students will need this time to write in their "feelings journal" to help with anxieties outside of school and how to deal with them. Another ideal reason this space will be so beneficial to our class. Thank you for considering donating to my class!
