With technology such as an apple TV, I would be able to utilize apps, games, and videos online (in ASL) to present topics such as empathy, compassion, and managing emotions by connecting my iPad to a much larger screen for the class to view and discuss together. Although presentations and group discussions are wonderful ways to share and learn from each other, watching videos, being able to see examples and participate in activities like yoga, square breathing, and mindful meditation with assistance from a large screen allows for the whole class to practice and engage in activities together, better promoting social emotional growth.

About my class
