At my school, my students come from many different backgrounds. Scholastic News provides them with the opportunity to learn about current events throughout the world. It helps them develop awareness about cultures and people who are different than them. In order for my students to become responsible citizens, they need to study current events and the lives of others through Scholastic News. Scholastic magazines provide my students with a wonderful opportunity to build their reading and writing skills using informational texts at their level. The magazines also include an online subscription that gives me access to the same text at different levels in order to meet all of my diverse students' needs. These magazines will help keep them engaged and excited about reading!
