We are requesting dry erase markers, a diverse set of read aloud books for our next unit on diversity, current events reading material, and copy paper. I'm hoping to expose my students to more current events and nonfiction reading passages. Time for Kids provides scholars with relevant material on social studies and science concepts that are not cover or discussed in our curriculum. Additionally, my school provides a very limited paper supply, which isn't nearly enough to get me to the end of the school year. In our next unit on diversity and inclusion, my goal is to read stories that highlight at least one part of every scholar's identity. In order to do this, I need read aloud books that cover religions and cultural backgrounds that reflect my scholars.
