My preschoolers will benefit from a small group kidney table where they can get the attention they need to succeed. By providing my students with this quiet area and table, I am able to focus on their goals and needs while they are learning using the classroom curriculum. I will be able to differentiate lessons and create individual activities for all our students. Some students have sensory and individual needs that need to be met when learning in a small group or individually. During our time in whole-group activities, some students are not able to get the attention they need like they would in a smaller group. Implementing multiple quiet areas to learn will help my co-teacher and I continue to build a classroom that takes all of our students needs into consideration and to promote an inclusive environment where students' needs are valued.
