I started this school year with a beautiful vision for my classroom and my students. My vision isn't complete yet, because some of my students are struggling to learn by sitting in a regular chair. Some of them need to be able to move around, while others just need something a little comfier to allow them to feel more at home in our classroom. These flexible seating options will help my students stay focused while learning new strategies or while using their imaginations to write incredible narratives. With these flexible options, my students can enter the magnificent world of Magic Tree House all while sitting in a comfy chair that feels like home. They can do their small group work together at their lap desks without worrying about poking their pencils through the paper on their laps. Not only will these items enhance our classroom environment, but they will also help me teach my students responsibility and sharing.
